Vegas? Napa? Foodbuzz can make it happen!

Did you hear?

Foodbuzz is sending two very happy Featured Publishers to The S. Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef Competition!  One oh-so-lucky Publisher will throw on an Elvis jumpsuit and head out to Viva! Las Vegas for the regional competition, while the other will dust off their best Chardonnay glass in time to be whisked off to Napa for the finals! 

Personally, I'd be happy with either a Napa Cabernet or the Vegas cabaret - especially considering the fun task of reporting on the nailbiting events.  Picture rubbing shoulders with reporters from Food & Wine, judges like (previous judge) Michael White of Alto, and top talent from schools around the U.S. and from Instituto Culinario de Mexico!

I'll be happy for any of my food blogger brethren that win these spots, but I sure would like a chance myself, too.  I think my special brand of quirky writing and photo-snapping would be a lovely pairing for the events, don't you?  Which is why I'm sending out this subtle subliminal message to the good people at Foodbuzz...
